BBQ... blogg-ed at 1:43 am
It was really really extremely fun... haa... I woke up at 8 to
marinate the chickens... It is my first time marinating.. So if it dun taste really nice, dun blame me... hee.. There is always a first time... hope it will b better next time... I oso made
Rojak... Love it lots.. hee... Interesting ya.. I manage to make so many things... Muhahaha... After marinating the chickens, I met up wif my friends and we went to Giant... It is our first time going to shop for grocery together... hee.. We bought lots and lots of foods...
Titbits -- each one of us choose a packet,
charcoal, drinks.. and mushroom.. The sale person is so
shen chu kui mo de.. v scary.. haa.. She recommends us some
mushroom which is for bbqing... But heard from my friends, the mushroom dun taste nice.. Haa.. we went to buy food to prepare
spagetti and hotdogs.. N lots more... then it comes to buying
seafoods... Which is the most fun and interesting part of the day.. haa... We were supposed to buy prawns and squids... First was the squids... We took many plastic bags.. Put one over another.. *So tad it wont stink our hand* haa... It is like holding it up and slowly puttin it into the plastic bags.. N at the same time avoiding it from touching our hands.. haa... The prawns... We saw this really big prawns... At first we planned to buy a prawn for each of us.. Then the price was like 12 dollar plus.. Then we decide to choose the smaller one.. Hee.. then got this temptation to hide e huge prawn among the smaller ones.. Really had fun there... Oh.. and we design a cake for marcus for his very belated bday.. hee..
Designer of cake: Kas and Jac.. Hee.. It was really sweet... And it was really beautiful...Nic's dad come pick us up.. hee.. On the way back, he was like telling us abt chicken rice.. he said the temp of chickens of various stall.. He was humorous.. When we reached Nic's hse.. We started preparing.. Each has their own roles... I cutting the prawns, chicken wings, marinate the chicken, make rojak etc... We rest for a while then we started startin fire.. We used almost all the methods-- firestarter, newspaper... hee.. At the beginning we bbqed the mashmallow... Yummy.. While waiting for Marcus to arrive...After his work.. Then slowly we begin to cook... Nice nice... There are lots of happy and funny moments... Like e toilet roll.. haa... After eating for a while we decide to rest.. So we played
Twister.. And got ourselves tangled... haa... Fun...
Really really enjoyed yesterday... How I hope we can meet up more often... Cos I m used to meetin my buddies everyday at sch.. Then going out to hav our lunch together... Sitting down to stone, to joke, to laugh... Hee.. Overall, this is an unforgettable nite for me... Yipee...
